In-Kind Donations

Do you have a business/service and would like to make an in-kind donation?

In-Kind donations are a great way to give to Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County (SOBA). Donated goods and services add greatly to the presentation of programs and services provided by SOBA. In-Kind needs are equipment, facility usage, give aways to reward volunteers and athletes, printing services, public awareness advertising, meals, etc.

Program Support

No athlete or family of a Special Olympics athlete is charged to participate in any training program or
competition event. And all uniforms, equipment and facilities which are needed in each sport are also
provided at no cost. It costs Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County approximately $50.00 per sport to train each of our hard working athletes. The funds for this come entirely from private donations and all donations go to support the sports programs of Baltimore County.

Volunteering

Were you once a volunteer with Special Olympics? A “hugger, perhaps”? Well, we still need volunteers in various new roles, including: Coaches, and Assistant Coaches, Fundraising, Merchandise/Refreshment Sellers, Volunteer Coordinator Assistant, Public Relations Assistant, Team Parents, Athlete Training Assistant, and openings on our Management Team.
