Where is your main office located?
We do not have a main office. Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County is a 100% volunteer run organization, including the Area Director. The members of the management team and the coaches all work out of their respective homes.

Who is in charge of Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County?
The Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County management team establishes a working structure for the county and assists in the development and implementation of sports programs consistent with the policies of Special Olympics International and Special Olympics Maryland.

Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County is an accredited program of Special Olympics Maryland. Special Olympics Maryland is a state-based organization and Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County is one of 19 local county programs across the state.

The Inspiration Walk is a walk that brings awareness and raises necessary funds for Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County.

Where does the money that is raised for Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County go?
100% of the funds that are raised go towards supporting the programs of Special Olympics Baltimore County. Since all of the management team members, coaches and assistance are volunteers there are no salaries to be paid. The money raised is used to purchase uniforms, equipment, pay facility fees, postage, for clerical supplies, and much more.

Do you accept donations of used trophies?
All Special Olympics athletes are awarded medals or ribbons at competitions, we cannot accept donations of trophies.
