Writers Wanted for Website
Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County is looking for three writers to join our volunteer corps and handle coverage of events and competitions, along with other assignments throughout the year. Interested individuals can write great feature stories that grasp the visitors’ of our website in 700 words or less. Previous experience writing for a website or a newspaper (high school or college is acceptable) is a must.

Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County (SOBA) is a nonprofit organization* dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. In existence since the late 70’s, Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 15 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. (*Special Olympics is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under U.S. Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).)
