Be a fan! and PARTY with Special Olympics Maryland!

Join the athletes, volunteers, and staff of Special Olympics Maryland on Friday, June 5, 2009 for the FREE Wal-Mart “Be a fan” Block Party in Lot 20 at Towson University.

The party starts at 4:30 p.m. and continues until 7:15 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. join Rob Roblin and Jennifer Franciotti from WBAL-TV Ch. 11, Towson University’s Basketball Coach Pat Kennedy, Baltimore Ravens Adam Terry and other special celebrity guest in the Towson Center for the exciting Opening Ceremonies for the Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games. The first 1,000 spectators through the door of the Towson Center will receive a free gift.

If you have not attended a Special Olympics event this year or ever, make this your first one. Can you think of an easier way to give back to the community? Eat free food, listen to some good music, play some fun games, and in return all we want you to do is bring your family and a loud voice to GET YOUR CHEER on for the Opening Ceremonies!
